About this Cook
I am a single Mom who is manager of a family owned restraunt. My family has been in the restraunt business since the 1930's. I love to cook and watch people enjoy what I have created.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking, soups, and main courses
My favorite family cooking traditions
we are German, we have recipes that have been in the family for over a hundred years.
My cooking triumphs
I have single handily catered weddings for 100 people and was told it was one of the prettiest( I made all the floral arrangements) and tastiest buffet at a wedding in a long time.
My cooking tragedies
One time when I was experimenting I combined beef and cod in a marinara sauce! GROSS

Hearty Chicken Soup
Yum, I tried this recipe and really enjoyed it! I did add a couple of tablespoons of fresh parsley and sage. The colors are really beautiful! I will make this again!!Thanks

Chicken Tortilla Soup III
Sorry, But I am from Texas and ALL the chicken tortilla soups I have ever encountered have a clear broth base. Just because it has tortillas as a garnish does not make it a tortilla soup..
