About this Cook
I am a new mom and soon to be wife. After I had my son, my Fiancee and I agreed I would stay at home with Cameron. Little did I know during down time how bored I would be. So I started with baking and grew from there. Recently my mother came to stay with us and is shocked with my cooking. Before now I would burn water trying to boil it. It's just an awesome feeling to get great reactions out of people about my cooking.
My favorite things to cook
I love LOVE Chinese. I haven't cooked to much oriental food yet, but the best Chinese dish I cooked was Tempura and stir fried rice.
My favorite family cooking traditions
When I was growing up, every year my mother use to have me and my 2 brothers help her bake over 50 types of holiday cookies. And we would make the cookie dough (then of course eat most of it), place assortments in holiday tins and give them as gift to our friends, family, and teachers. Every year we made close to 3500 hundred cookies with one oven one kitchen aid, and LOTS OF LOVE. EVERYONE loved her cookies and would look forward to them.

Raspberry Tilapia
Fantastic entree!!! I was entertaining Saturday, one of my guest being my mother who doesn't like fish other than salmon. Well she ended up LOVING it. I like that is was sweet and there was no fishy smell through out my house or the fish taste. Bravo!

Chicken a la King III
This was so easy to make. I just recently started trying to make "newer" dishes to relieve my family from the every day chicken and mashed potatoes, haha. I made this last night with Risortto and it was a hit! My hubby cant wait till I make it again, he actually took my left over to work. So two thumbs up!
