Whipped Shortbread Cookies
I followed the recipe to these cookies but took suggestions submitted and whipped the butter for 5 mins, and again after adding the powdered sugar, and about 3 minutes after each flour addition. I added almond extract and vanilla. The taste is good but these cookies fall apart upon handling, to the point where I am wondering how I will store them for the holidays without them turning into crumbs. There are so many suggestions on how to change this recipe to make it work for everyone, it just doesn't seem worth it to me to make them again in hopes they turn out.
