Homemade Butter
What a cool way to use up leftover heavy cream! Used my food processor and it turned into butter in no time. My only tip would be to make sure that the cloth you use to strain the butter does not have any LINT on it! Oh well, mistakes happen!

Chi Chi Dango Mochi
My first time making chi chi dango by myself...turned out great! I used just 2 cups of sugar and it was sweet enough. I also didn't bother with the potato starch--just left it in the pan. A tip that I learned from relatives is to TIGHTLY wrap the pan with foil as it helps the mochi steam while it bakes.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches
Excellent! Used beef broth and 2 pkgs Italian dressing; also added some onion and red pepper to slow cooker to help flavor the meat. Served with sauteed onions (sauteed with some of the juices), roasted red pepper, provolone cheese, and banana peppers--broiled the sandwiches on a pizza stone to help toast the bread.
