Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Definitely did not think this was awesome! The meat was tasteless and stringy (I used low sodium soup and broth after many said it was too salty) and the gravy was ok (I did the flour/browning trick as suggested too). Very disappointing as I was looking forward to my first attempt at a slow cooker roast.... I wonder if it needs acid to help tenderize the meat (e.g., wine or vinegar). Will look for another recipe!
