About this Cook
Married to my best friend. Beautiful 6 month old son. Spend my days playing with my boy and attempting to deserve my husband. Kitchen is undergoing a major remodel, so learning to get by with no stove!
My favorite things to cook
Desserts. Cookies, brownies, whatever. My current obsession: cakes. I want to master them. Would love to get better at general cooking. Growing up with a vegetarian mom and a frozen pizza kinda dad, meats are a huge area of weakness.
My favorite family cooking traditions
TERRIBLE food. Attempting to change this.
My cooking triumphs
At the current time, making pretty great meals with only a microwave :)
My cooking tragedies
PORK. I do not understand how to broil meat. The poor pork chops, I marinated them in a mustard sauce, and then tried to broil them. When that didn't seem to work, I tried to bake them. They ended up looking like moldy old bread chunks and tasted even worse! My husband can't stand to waste food, so he ate them all!

One Bowl Chocolate Fudge
Yay. This turned out great. I used semi-sweet chocolate chips to make things SUPER easy. I also used pecans instead of walnuts and added craisins. Try the pecans and craisins, it is soooo good. My husband and BIL loved them.

Blonde Brownies I
Pretty Tasty. But it was more of a cookie bar than a brownie in texture.
