I loved that it does NOT get crunchy the next day. I usually do not follow recipes very well, adding whatever I have on hand, so I used almond extract. I drizzled it over a strawberry cake with almond paste filling and everyone loved it!

I made this for a BIG bash we have every year and everyone LOVED it! I really appreciated everyone else's reviews so I made a few changes to. I used the entire can of lemonade, and added sprite instead of water according to the lemonade can. I also added a couple shots of controy (orange flavord liquer)It was supposed to be for the wives...but the husbands kept coming back for more.

I was worried about choosing to make something for the first time at a large gathering. My oldest daughter and my sister both warned me they do not like corn bread and probably wouldn't even try it....it looked so good...they loved it, everyone loved it. My sister even asked for the recipe!
