About this Cook
Married for almost 21 yrs, wonderful daughter and 2 great grandkids.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. I also love trying new Italian dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
To me cooking traditions is just being asked to make something more than once and to keep making it.
My cooking triumphs
Lasagne I believe, I have perfected over the yrs. And learning how to can.
My cooking tragedies
Cookies seems to be my struggle, some of them just do not look like they should or get hard and do not stay soft.

Chicken In Basil Cream
This recipe really interested me, and it was well worth it-I did make double the cream--awesome!!I also like the reviews that used pork also, so now can make it with more than just one meat--and I might say when I opened the recipe you have the same last name I was born with!!!!

Country Apple Dumplings
This is one of the best and simplest recipes ever!!Its great in the morning or anytime. When you make these for company you look like quite the cook!!! Usually at about 30 minutes into baking I take them out and pour sauce over them to prevent them from getting too brown. The last 2 times I made them I used brown sugar instead, and it seems to thicken/carmelize the sauce better. But either way they are 5 stars!!!!

Real Southern Cornbread
This corn bread, was just corn bread. The reviews made it sound "over the top" and it was not. It was good but nothing more.
