Well, my name is Katie. I like cooking, but finding the time for it is the hard part! I always found myself looking for recipes online and winding up at this same website so I figured I should probably start a profile and recipe box :)!! I like to cook desserts. Pies, cakes, cookies, etc. and I always have this crazy idea that everything must be made from scratch so that I can say that I did it all by myself haha! Although, I'm having issues with making pie crust.....just something else I need to search allrecipes for! Yay! Other than dessert I like to cook anything with Pasta and Chicken and I make some pretty yummy lasagna if I do say so myself. I always seem to get volunteered to bake pies for Thanksgiving so they must be good! Oh and my sister-in-law makes the best breaded califlower (i'm pretty sure I spelled that wrong:)) for dinner too. I just recently made my lasagna that I love to make without having to look at the recipe. Mostly cause I found myself at the grocery store without my list and was forced to use my memory, but it still turned out great! Oh man....if only you could have seen the gingerbread house my sister and I created last year! Ever heard the poem that goes something like, "There was a crooked man, and he lived in a crooked house....." Hopefully this year our Gingerbread house will be in my "cooking triumphs" section instead! haha!
