About this Cook
I love to cook. I like recipes with short ingredient lists that I can find easily. Nothing makes me happier than when my family loves what I prepare for them.
My favorite things to cook
I love the winter because I love to cook stew, chicken & dumplings, chili, and all the other warm foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother is an excellent cook and has taught me alot. I will never be as good as her but I keep trying. I would say our mexican food tradition is my favorite.
My cooking triumphs
I made my first thanksgiving turkey this past year and it turned out beautiful. Thanks to allrecipes.
My cooking tragedies
I made a horrible meatloaf once. I dont know what happened. Maybe too much wine?

Marian's Creamed Corn
I made this as part of my thanksgiving meal and it was excellent. I used drained canned corn, and I did not do the topping and baking part. It was easy, very tasty and everybody loved it. Thank you!

Best Green Bean Casserole
This is now my famous green bean casserole around my family. I am always asked to bring this. I used french style beans, also mixed in 1/2 of the fried onions, and mixed in all the cheese to the mixture like a reviewer suggested. It was perfect. Thank you!
