Blackberry Cobbler

It was tricky cutting it, I think chilling the dough in the fridge for a while would have helped. Regardless, it was really good!

Cucumber And Yogurt Salad

This was just ok for me. It was refreshing, and I didn't have trouble w/too much water like some did. But it didn't have much flavor either. Dill would prob. be better, but I'll try another recipe next time.

Key Lime Pie VII

I don't even like Key Lime Pie, but this was very good. Made it for a friend, it's her favorite. It was a really big hit, better than she'd had in a restaurant the night before!

Veal Chop with Portabello Mushrooms

Delicious! Only wish we'd used fatter chops so there was more to eat! Will definitely make again, probably add some shallots next time around. Fresh Rosemary was awesome w/it.

Shortbread Crust

This is an easy and very good crust! I recommend following the advice of others on this thread, which was to chill the dough & roll it out instead of patting it down. I found it too sticky and it's definitely a double crust recipe, chilling it makes it easier to cut away half and freeze it for next time.

Cream Cheese Blueberry Pie

Delicious! I don't like blueberry pies, but went berry picking w/my kids and needed something to make. This was REALLY good. Used the shortbread crust recipe someone else recommended, it was perfect with it. :)

Tapenade

Really delicious! To save a little $$ I used a cheaper brand of kalamata and regretted it - too salty. Rinsing the anchovies and olives is a must for this. Serving some on toast points for ppl. to get the idea of how much to use is a good idea too. Gave the recipe to two of my friends the first time I made it, I was worried they would be afraid to eat it from the appearance - just needed a little nudge. ;)

Prize Winning Baby Back Ribs

These are really, really good ribs. For my own taste I would go lighter on the chili poweder & a little heavier on the cumin. The cumin was a nice touch, unexpected and made a big difference. Used Sweet Baby Ray's as suggested in the other reviews & it was very good.

Italian Pork Pie

This was ok, my husband thought it was great. If I do it again I could reduce the amt. of pork overall, especially the plain ground pork. A little more Italian sausage & some Sage. It was runny which I didn't like.

Chocolate Mousse Cake II

This was time consuming, but you could tell it was going to be delicious as it's being made. Sadly, I couldn't get mine to set after 1 1/2 days. It was a mess to serve, but still got compliments. Not sure that I'll try it again though for all of the effort that went into it. Mind you I'm a novice baker!

Dennie's Fresh Lobster Salad

I don't know how I could have messed up such an easy recipe, but in the end I wasn't impressed. I used leftover lobster that was made fresh the day before. It was ok, not bad, but I don't think it was anywhere near how it's been rated.

Mini Cheesecakes

I can't rate these 5 stars because I never got to try them! They disappeared before I could even make coffee. Instead of the pie filling, I used fresh raspberries & blueberries. Put the berries on top when they just come out of the oven & are still "puffy".

Absolutely love it. I'm making it again this weekend for Father's Day. Always loved lamb, but this sauce is amazing. I don't know if I'll ever have lamb without it again!
