About this Cook
My hubby and I are excited parents of a gorgeous daughter (no, I'm not biased. She really is gorgeous, look for yourself). I love showing in the jumping ring with my warmblood, Magnum P.I.. He's a wonderfully perfect horse. We are currently jumping 4'6". Our daughter, Emma-Reese, loves riding her 'horse', my first baby, a 120 lb. German Shepherd named Maverick. She can't wait to ride the real one, though. My husband loves restoring 67-69 Camaros and our current one is a '68 396/375 RS/SS big block Lemans Blue convertible (his dream car) and Emma-Reese loves handing him the tools. I love it - she's my little tom boy :).
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking gourmet dinners. For valentine's day '08 I made Mike duck, green beans with shallots and almonds, strawberry waltnut salad with gorgonzola cheese and dark chocolate soufles with raspberry sauce. I do love baking more than cooking though.
My favorite family cooking traditions
For Christmas my family (all were Amish, my grandmother is still) my Aunt makes her f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s Sausage Bread and Baked French Toast for brunch. For Lunch we make Sweet Potato casserole, my grandmother's cranberry salad (both SO delicious)3 turkeys all differently cooked, a lot of other sides and of course, from my grandmother's FAMOUS resteraunt, Yoder's Resteraunt, her pies! Christmas is definately my favorite time of year. A time to celebrate The Lord, Jesus Christ.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
My Amish Aunt's are WAY better than these (no offense they're good, but not the best).
