I've been cooking/baking my whole life really. I can't remember ever not cooking. I helped my mom when I was little, then when I was 8, made my first batch of cookies all by myself. They were a little overcooked, but still good!
I am not a vegetarian, but I do not eat pigs or sheep. I rarely eat beef, but I love bison!
My favorite things to cook
Cakes, breads, pies, cookies, pizzas, pastas, and sauces.
My cooking triumphs
My breads always turn out amazing. As do cookies. I've been making both for so long, I do consider myself an expert on them. I really love baking bread the most. It's very relaxing and enjoyable.
My cooking tragedies
I've had cakes fall apart. It's bad, but can always be fixed with frosting! I have also forgotten to put certain ingredients in a recipe, or too much or too little of something. For example, I put in only half the amount of flour needed for shortbread. It came out ok, just too crispy and crumbly. I love learning from my mistakes though.
