About this Cook
I work more than one job and am always on the go, so having time to cook much of anything is not an option. Everything has to be quick and easy for me. Whenever I do slow down to cook something it's usually when there's other people involved and I aim to please. Otherwise it's simply whatever I can grab on the go, or something that won't take more than 10 minutes to make.
My favorite things to cook
I'm a bacon freak. Love the stuff. Chicken wings is another. I also love potatoes, so love working with them. If I had more time on my hands I'd likely prepare more potato based dishes than anything.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas. It's the only time of year where I can break away from my jobs and be with family and simply enjoy the moment.
My cooking triumphs
I'm good at spur of the moment, last minute cooking concepts when there's company involved.
My cooking tragedies
Putting a live lobster into a pot of boiling hot water, tail first. That was a mistake. The scream shocked the hell out of me and I wound up flinging the lobster and it was on the floor. Now, from a lobster's point of view, how would you feel if your tail was just dipped into scalding hot water?
