About this Cook
I never had any interest in cooking, until I made my first dish, Baked Ziti. It turned out really good so I never stopped.
My favorite things to cook
mexican dishes, fried green tomotoes, steamed broccoli (its so easy, I just love to eat it)
My cooking triumphs
making fried green tomatoes that tasted better than my grandmothers (although I wouldn't tell her that!).
My cooking tragedies
I've been pretty fortunate, probably because I haven't tried anything too terribly hard... burned cookies here and there.

Salsa Chicken
This is the best recipe, but remember to always pound the chicken. It comes out way more tender and really makes a huge difference when cooking chicken any way...I always cook with black beans and serve with mexican rice. Very good topped with a little guac. I could make this every week.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken
This would have been good, had I not followed others reviews and made the yucky gravy. I'm trying again WITHOUT the gravy and I bet it'll be better...I gave four stars because the chicken would be fine by itself. UPDATE: I cook this chicken all the time now without making the mistake of the gravy. Its so easy, especially when you don't feel like cooking an extravagant meal. And to those who said its only a good recipe if you don't know how to cook...some of us may not want to slave away in the kitchen ALL night after work and actually look for easy recipes like this! THANKS!

Cheesy Breaded Chicken
This recipe is super simple and tastes great. I use itlian bread crumbs so there really isn't any need for the italian seasoning. Served with rotini noodles and spaghetti sauce with bread and a salad (throw in "garlic croutons" from this site), its a perfect meal.
