Melt-in-your-mouth heavenly!!! I like to dip them in melted chocolate.

I chose this recipe because of the crust, and it was heavenly! I see that I accidentally omitted the cornstarch and purposefully omitted the lemon, but the end result was fantastic so it must not have mattered. Not a fan of pumpkin pie, but I think I'll make this every year!

If you want to amaze your friends, bake this pie! I added cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg to the apples, Not the sauce. Poured most of the caramel directly onto the apples (I used a variety of 8 apples), reserving a bit to pour through the top. Should have poured it all in with the apples, as I ended up just making a mess on the lattice. Didn't matter though, cause the compliments proved that this is the best and only apple pie recipe I'm ever going to use. Thanks Grama Ople!
