Cake Balls

They were easy to make and the presentation is beautiful. I used white cake and lemon icing, coated them with white choclate melted with some yellow food coloring. They were the hit of the cookie exchange party.

We are huge fans of Bulgogi. We sometimes host "hot rock" dinner parties. This will be a fabulous edition to our menu.

Best Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
Personally, I do not like Spanish rice but my husband does. This is a perfect, quick and easy recipe for me to prepare for him. It was simply to make only one serving. I was unsure whether he would enjoy it as it appeared so basic but it got rave reviews!

Curried Quinoa

I serve this in a baked acorn squash half (baked with butter and brown sugar). The sweetness of the squash compliments the flavorful quinoa and it looks very nice!

Carrot and Ginger Soup

I really like this soup. I often boil my squash with thye carrots when i Dont have time to roast it. It tastes just as good! Also, I add curry powder to my soup instead of the cinnamon for a bit of zing!

Perfect quantities of each ingredient. I used a dill mustard and a TBSP of tangy dill relish for a little more added flavor.

Seven-Up™ Mud, Fruit Slide Cake

Reviewed: May 15, 2010
Nice cake but very crumbly. Mine was difficult to cutinto nice portions because it was falling apart. Presentation was so great but the cake tasted super! I omitted chocolate and added shredded coconut and maraschino cherries instead. Very tasty combination of flavors. My family really enjoyed this.

Curry Pineapple Fried Rice

Reviewed: May 2, 2010
We really enjoyed this rice. I added frozen sweet baby peas a few minute before serving and just mixed them into the hot rice so they could thaw. I also added a generous handful of bean sprouts at the last minute. I served this to company in half a pineapple, sliced on the diagonal and hollowed out. Looked and tasted GREAT!

HUGE HIT!!! Super easy to make, very tasty and impressive enough to serve to company. I doubledthe breading and coated the meat heavily (we like a thick crunchy coating). Tasted great!

Easy to make, tastes great and looks very festive. I crush my candy canes very finely and only use 3/4 of a cup for personal taste.

Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
I always make this fancy looking side dish for dinner parties. I blanch the asparagus and put it together well in advance and pop them in the oven 15 minutes before dinner is served. For evenly crisped prosciutto be sure to flip your asparagus midway through!

Great dish for brunch. I made it the night before and heated it prior to eating. It tasted even better the next day! I have made the recipe as written and it was good but have also added garlic and italian seasoning for an extra touch of flavor!

Great flavour, easy to make, fantastic over rice. I used 1 Tbsp of chili paste instead 2 Tbsp of Hot Sauce and it tasted great! I prefer things with a little less heat. We will make this again!

Tasty and easy to make but not enough coconut flavor for me. I will try this recipe again but try using cream of coconut as recommended by other reviewers.

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
I made this recipe as written ( with the exception of doubling it) for my hubby and and some friends last weekend. I paired it with Coconut Soup and spring rolls. Everyone raved about it and one of my guests even ate the extra sauce in the bottom of the EMPTY serving bowl with a spoon. I will make this again! Thanks
