My favorite things to cook
I love baking deserts (mostly cakes and cookies... things that I get to decorate!) I cook a lot of Italian foods and also try to come up with new and creative dishes with chicken and turkey in an attempt to eat just a little healthier.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is Italian so our cooking traditions pretty much revolve around 4 things: Pasta, Sauces, Meat, and Bulk! We always cooked enough for 10 even if there were only 4 people eating.
My cooking triumphs
My major baking triumph was a Mario Brothers cake that I made for a friends birthday.

Ranch Pasta Salad
I make a similar recipe only I use half the cheese (usually one of the shredded Italian cheese blends) half the ranch and instead of olives, I use diced cooked ham. I also recommend using real bacon pieces instead of bacon bits as bacon bits have a nasty after-taste.

Buttercream Icing
I also use this recipe for my cakes however, I use butter flavor shortening and gel food coloring.

Mini Cheesecakes III
These turned out great. I actually used a mini cupcake pan instead so I ended up with a lot more desert :) I topped mine with fresh sliced strawberries and it tasted fabulous.
