Crab-Stuffed Filet Mignon with Whiskey Peppercorn Sauce

As most indicated the sauce is fantastic. Definitely you can eliminate the crab stuffing without taking anything away from the dish.

Corn Dogs

My step daughter has a wheat and a dairy allergy. I substituted the flour with a gluten free bread mix and then used soya milk instead of regular milk. It turned out excellent. By ensuring all your ingredients are gluten and dairy free, this works great. We will be making these for my son's birthday party, where he has a friend with a wheat allergy as well. A great receipe.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

I used the canned jalapenos as I was making a lot of appetizers for a party. For those people that like jalapenos or hotter dishes they will definitely enjoy this spread. The dip does get spicer if you bake it. Both ways are very good, baked or unbaked.

My Mom's Parmesan Chicken

I made this recipe while entertaining a large group of people. I thought it was okay, however my husband really enjoyed it. I used chicken breasts and the chicken did remain very moist.

Rum Cake I

This was the first time I made rum cake and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely make this again. I used the suggestion of coconut rum and coconut with half nuts. A definite recipe keeper.

Cherry Tomato Salad

This is a fantastic recipe to add to any entertaining menu. I made it for a company Christmas party and received great reviews on it. Those worried about the recipe having too much oil, if you make it the day ahead of time and let in marinate in the fridge it soaks up the additional oil. If you are only allowing the salad to marinade for a couple of hours I will cut the oil in half.

Best Hot Crab Dip

This was an excellent dip. I made it as an appetizer to take to a bbq. Everyone asked for the recipe and we will definitely be making it again. I read the reviews and agree to ensure you keep the capers, they do add that special taste.
