My name is Kristen, and I cook. Food has been my passion my entire life. It comes naturally to me, I can't remember not knowing how to cook, or not wanting to. My mom taught me that you have to learn what flavors go well with what, before you cook anything. I Love to explore things I have never made, or becoming familiar with a new flavor palette. Right now I am on an Asian kick. Everything lately has been some kind of Asian fusion. I grew up cooking Italian, so that is where my heart is. Sausage on Easter, pork stuffing on Thanksgiving, and stuffed calamari on Christmas. Still can't get the texture right on Red Velvet Cake from scratch!!
