Living in England for the past 5 years has been a cooking eye opener. With all of their crazy (and some of them not so bad) concoctions, has been interesting. Pepper on your ice cream, anyone? No, thank you to that one, please! I saw that one on one of their cooking shows.

Desserts, hands down. And people wonder how I stay so thin? It helps if you ONLY like to eat cookies piping hot out of the oven, I limit myself to 2 per sheet as they come out, I want there to be plenty for all ;D
My favorite family cooking traditions
My son loves my homemade vanilla cake with chocolate icing for his birthday and for my birthday, well, I LOVE my grandmother's homemade lemon cake with lemon icing. See a pattern? I ONLY bake (and cook) from scratch, everything.
