Have always loved cooking. Became interested in experimenting with different spices and short cuts after watching my mother make standard, dull dishes. She didn't mind, in fact, she learned a few things from me. I love to play with my kids (2 lovable mutts...a boy and a girl), getting together with friends to do whatever...especially dining out at a good restaurant, then try to mimick their recipe at home for my own enjoyment. Moved to the DFW area from Philly...though I'm in "Cowboy" country, will always remain loyal and true to my Eagles!!...but I LOVE TEXAS!! Love to cook the quick & easy while also kickin' up the dish making it taste like I've worked hours on it...he, he, he.
