This was the ugliest, most delicious pork roast I have ever made. My father-in-law is legally blind, and he absolutely loved it! Everyone else seemed leery, but once you taste it, it's heavenly.

I had almost all of the ingredients already in my cupboard, and the ones I didn't have were easy substitutions. I used a half cup of corn syrup since I had no honey, wheat bran instead of wheat germ, and tossed in some rice krispies, coconut, sliced almonds, and raisins. I cut back on flour a little since I added krispies, not really even measuring, just a half a handful here and there. It cut nicely into 12 meal sized bars, making it my new healthy (cheap) energy bar. Why pay $2 a piece when these were so fool proof and delicious? Thank you!!!

I had a hard time stirring the marshmallow creme, and couldn't find german chocolate, so I substituted milk choc. chips. It came out a bit too soft. Good flavor, though, next time I will use real german chocolate, and add more nuts.
