Split Pea and Sausage Soup
Used 3 cans of low sodium beef broth and 1 cup of water. Left out the bay leaf. Did not puree meat at beginning, just blended everything at the end with the stick blender. Did not need to add extra salt. Served with Double Quick dinner rolls from this site. Very good.

Double Quick Dinner Rolls
Very sticky dough as written, but made it in the stand mixer so a little easier to clean up. I took a gamble and did not add extra flour. It was very sticky to transfer to the muffin tin and I was afraid that I would deflate it too much, but all was fine. Delicious!

Ground Pork Cake with Salty Egg (Haam Daan Ju Yoke Beng)
Note that there are two kinds of salted eggs available for sale. Some are already boiled, so follow these directions. If you can find the ones that are not already cooked, go ahead and mix the white part with a regular egg. Save the yolk. Make a depression in the center of the meat after you place it in the bowl to be steamed. Place the salted egg yolk in the depression you made. Steam as directed. Enjoy.
