I love to try new recipes. I hate to make the same thing over and over again. Baking is my favorite. I love cookies & bread. I also really like to use my counter-top grill. I don't really have any traditions yet, but I look forward to having some in the future. My mom was not a good cook at all, so one year at Christmas she let me make the turkey. It was my first time trying it and it turned out so good. My brother said that he never knew he liked turkey before then. When my husband and I first got married I tried repeatedly to make pot roast. It was ALWAYS bad. I cannot tell you how many pot roasts we had to just throw out because they were not even edible. I finally got to a point where I could cook them well enough, but we very rarely have them just because of the memories.
