About this Cook
I love to cook! I'm a law student, so I don't have lots of time, but I try to make a home cooked meal for my boyfriend and my roommate every couple of days. We like everything, so I get to try lots of different recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom started me in the kitchen when I was barely walking. She always made cooking so much fun and still teaches me new things all the time. Country cooking has always been my family's favorite, but we were always trying new things when I was a kid, as I still try to do today!

A Hearty Green Bean and Sausage Casserole
Yum! I loved this dish! I made it for Thanksgiving to share with my family. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. It is a pretty ugly dish, but it tastes great!

Chicken Tikka Masala
Excellent dish! This is my favorite way to enjoy Chicken Tikka Masala - spicy and not too sweet. The thing is, typically at Indian restaurants, you get to choose your spicy level, and this one would rate pretty high on the spicy scale...with the whole jalapeno and all! As I said, that's just how I like it, but I had to add extra cream, lemon juice, and cinnamon to take some of the spice out for my boyfriend. I salted to taste at the end. Thanks to the advice of all the previous reviewers! Oh, yeah, make sure you put this over rice!
