A very proud Japanese/Irish-Canadian citizen, married to an African American from N.Y. but live in Oklahoma. What a mix,eh. Turkey for Thanksgiving is one of my faves to make. I love to make Karage chicken, sushi and Okonomiyaki. Making Sushi to go along with our Thanksgiving dinner! It was tradition growing up in our house. Cooking the same way my mom did. She never taught me but I watched her. So good to have now that she has passed on... I think my mom's karage chicken and Okonomiyaki are some of my best meals. Most chinese food and especially fried rice!!!! Can't seem to get a hold on doing it right.Baking desserts and breads are not a great thing with me either.
