Tortellini Soup I
Hearty Jambalaya
Slow Cooker Chili II
About this Cook
I have my elementary teaching degree and currently in the process of applying for teaching jobs. I love to make dinner for my fiance. It is my favorite hobby. It makes me happy to hear how much he loves my cooking. Hopefully he isn't lying. I am not much of a baker, but I do a little.
My favorite things to cook
Pasta is by far my favorite! But I like to make soup, chili, casseroles, anything that is more of a one dish meal. As far as baking goes, I like to make banana bread, corn bread, cookies and crisps.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My fiance and I started baking together. We made cookies for all of our friends. I loved spending time with him in the kitchen.
My cooking triumphs
I have been perfecting my chili recipe and I am pretty impressed. Also, my friend asked me to cook her pasta with shrimp because she loved mine so much. That was pretty exciting!
My cooking tragedies
I have made some very odd batches of chocolate chip cookies. I am not sure exactly what happened, but they just did not turn out quite right. They did still taste good.

Sweet Corn Bread
I have never really liked corn bread but this is really good. I make it when I make slow cooker chili. I followed other reviewers and added 1/4 cup more of sugar.

Best Tuna Casserole
This is such a great recipe. I usually add more tuna and cream of mushroom soup. The potato chips are not very good reheated, so I would sprinkle it one an individual portion instead of over all of it. It is even great without the chips. My fiance loves it when I make tuna casserole!

Romaine Rice Tuna Salad
I was shocked that this was so good. I had some leftover rice and I thought I would try it. It was great. I didn't feel like grating a carrot and it was still tasty.
