I can remember baking as soon as I could climb on top of the counters! I love making desserts and am carrying on the traditional Lebanese recipes from my grandmother. I love this website because I always want to experiment but don't feel brave enough to do it on my own. Planning family gatherings around food is a hobby of mine. Desserts!! I grew up with my grandmothers Lebanese cooking, nothing can beat that! I just love to see anyone happy after trying something I made. Two years ago we had a super bowl party. I guess I was doing too many things at once. I forgot I put a plastic cover to some fruit in the oven to get it out of the way. I preceeded to pre-heat the oven for some snacks and caught the oven on fire. Our entire house, all our guests and all the food were covered in black soot. I guess no one will forget that party!
