Paper Salmon

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
Very good! I added some rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Cooked nicely inside the paper, but I'm not sure it's any better of a cooking method than simply using a baking dish. Regardless, this was tasty and we enjoyed it. Thank you!

Picante Chicken Rice Burritos

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
Delicious. I thought I had picante sauce, but turns out it was enchilada sauce, so I used that instead and it worked very well. Added a few more seasoning and spread some salsa verde on top of the burritos before topping with the cheese and baking. Very tasty and fillling. Thank you!

Mushroom Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
Good, but a little boring. I used fresh mushrooms instead of canned and made smaller "puffs" than I think the recipe intended. Tasty, but could use a little seasoning in there. Thanks! :)

Slow Cooker Beef Stew III

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
Excellent! I halved the meat and doubled the potatoes and veggies. There is no reason to cook this for as long as the recipe calls for... I cooked on low for 9-10 hours and it was perfect. Much longer and the potatoes and carrots would have been nothing but mush. Thanks!

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
Yum! I did make a few changes, but this is a solid recipe. I chopped up fresh mushrooms, then sauteed in butter and garlic, and added those to the cheese layer. I also only used 2 cups of cheese and that was plenty. I topped it with a glaze of steak sauce, ketchup, and brown sugar. Very good, will make again. Thanks!

German Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
Very good! This was a big hit with my husband. I halved everything but the noodles and cheese, which worked perfectly. I used swiss and mozzarella cheeses and one can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken and Mushroom soup. Reheats well. Thanks!

Ham and Swiss Braid

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2009
Excellent! My husband went crazy for this. I had some refrigerated crescent roll dough that needed to be used up, so I did use that instead of making my own dough. I brushed the dijon mustard on the inside of the dough before assembling. LOVED the pickles in there. Will make again very soon. Thank you!

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Yummy! This tastes amazing warm and pretty good at room temperature. I used peaches in extra light syrup and drained off about half the syrup. My cake was not at all soggy, but perfectly moist. Thanks! :)

Very, very good. I added mushrooms and cooked the pasta right in the soup instead of separately. Thanks! :)

Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Beef

Fantastic. I was really craving a simple, yet delicious meat sauce and this definitely fit the bill. I sliced up fresh carrots and mushrooms and added those, along with a little parsley. I will use this recipe again. Thanks! :)

Butternut Squash and Turkey Chili

Excellent. The only changes I made were to use corn instead of hominy, just because that's what I had on hand, and I added some oregano. Great flavor, we really enjoyed it. Thank you! :)

Simply Traditional Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2009
Very good! The only change I made was to use AR's Best Marinara Sauce Yet in place of the jarred sauce called for. I also added a little bit of shredded Italian cheese blend to the mozzarella layers. Thank you!

Butternut, Apple and Yogurt Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
Absolutely fantastic! I did use only about 3/4 cup onion, as we aren't huge onion lovers in this house. I also used vegetable stock instead of chicken, but otherwise followed the recipe. The flavors are absolutely exquisite and I will be making this recipe again and again. Thank you! :)

Slow-Cooked White Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
Excellent. I did double the green chilies and I also added a can of diced tomatoes with green chilies for a little color. I threw my chicken breasts in the slow cooker frozen and then just shredded them before serving. Super tasty topped with a little plain yogurt and chopped cilantro. Thanks! :)

Mini OREO Surprise Cupcakes

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
Good! I wish I would have used more cream cheese mixture and less cake batter in each cupcake, but everyone really seemed to love these. I decided to frost with Quick and Almost-Professional Buttercream Icing from this site instead of the Cool-Whip, but I'm sure the Cool-Whip would have been tasty too. Thanks! :)
