About this Cook
I am formerly JustLearning86! I'm 23 years old, recently engaged, and mother to 2 adorable Patterdale Terriers (Chase and Layla). A year ago I would have died laughing if someone would have told me I'd become a cooking and baking addict. I lived on Lean Cuisines, bagels, and take-out until my fiance and I bought our first house and all of a sudden I transformed into some sort of domestic diva. AllRecipes has taught me everything that I probably should have already known and SO much more! I rarely cook something more than once just because I love to try new things. If my fiance really likes something he'll ask if we could please have it again sometime. So cute. I've been blessed with a man who will eat anything I put in front of him, except for brussels sprouts. :)
My favorite things to cook
We love chicken, so that's on the menu quite a bit. I love to make dog treats, bake cookies and muffins, and I *love* slow cooker meals! Nothing better than sticking ingredients in there, letting it cook by itself, and making the house smell delectable all day long!
My cooking triumphs
If I manage to make a meal without destroying the entire kitchen, I'm pretty proud of myself. I'm the messiest cook ever.

BBQ Bacon Ranch Dip
Excellent! Everyone loved it. I preferred it with Ruffles, but most people liked it with Fritos Scoops. The only change I made was to only put tomato on half (picky friends!). Thank you! :)

Southwest Chicken
This was pretty good, but I had to add a lot of spices to it to get it more flavorful. Great base recipe, just a little bland for our tastes. Thanks! :)
