Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie
I made this pie today for my Dad since Mom hasn't made a homeade pie in a while, and it came out FABULOUS! The recipe is so easy to follow, although I did alter a bit. I used 1 1/2c sugar, 3 oz lemon juice, plus zest and juice from one lemon. I also added 1 tsp of lemon extract, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. The meringue turned out perfect using a mixer. This is definitely going into my recipe book.
