I made this recipe this evening with very little modifications and it was a winner in my household. My picky 6 and 11 year olds liked it, but did not care for the sweetness of the French dressing. I only used 8oz of french dressing and about 6 oz of water. I will make this recipe again but may omit French dressing and top the salad off with Ranch dressing instead of salsa.

Wow...GREAT recipe. Take the other reviewers advice and double the dry ingredients. I follwed this recipe exactly as written with the exception of adding about 5 dashes of hot sauce (we like it spicy down south) and my catfish turned out wonderful. Thanks for the recipe. This one's a keeper.

I made this pie today for my Dad since Mom hasn't made a homeade pie in a while, and it came out FABULOUS! The recipe is so easy to follow, although I did alter a bit. I used 1 1/2c sugar, 3 oz lemon juice, plus zest and juice from one lemon. I also added 1 tsp of lemon extract, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. The meringue turned out perfect using a mixer. This is definitely going into my recipe book.
