I am a working Mom, and I would much rather pick dinner up on the way home than try to cook something. However, I am becoming more concerned with nutrition, and safety of take-out food. Anything quick and tasty. I do not own an oven. I have a radiant heat microwave and glass cook top stove. I have an electric Dutch oven for the big things like turkey and ham, but only use it twice a year. Christmas and Thanksgiving are family meals, meaning that my brother's family and parents all bring something to the table. Its fun, and always different. My triumph is that I have perseverance. As long as I follow a recipe, I'm okay...but beyond that...well...see below. Other than catching the stove (old) on fire on Christmas Eve a couple of years ago, every meal I make is a tragedy. I just don't understand how to cook.
