About this Cook
Cooking is like a hobby that I truly enjoy, and allrecipes.com is my primary recipe source. I rarely make a recipe exactly as stated, due in part to all of the other members' helpful reviews of the recipe and suggestions of what they did differently.
My favorite things to cook
It's quite obvious (based on my recipe reviews and photo gallery on this site) that I prefer cooking to baking. I guess that's because cooking can be tweaked to personal preferences, baking is more of an exact science.
My cooking triumphs
I consider it a triumph when what I cook tastes good and looks good. If family and friends tell me they enjoy what I made, that's a triumph, too.
My cooking tragedies
Of course. Maybe not "tragedies" but plenty of "oops" moments that I try not to repeat!

I cut the baby carrots in half lengthwise and then again in 3 strips -

I did not add the carrot (which I will next time) and I chopped the spinach and the onion rather small so that I did not have to blend the soup. I also forgot to add the nutmeg and I like the taste of nutmeg and spinach...

Baked Teriyaki Chicken
This is a perfect recipe for ICF chicken breasts. Next time I'll also double the sauce as it was really delicious and with just the right consistency to make a wonderful glaze on the chicken. So much better than bottled.
