Pumpkin Gingerbread

Nice blend of spices in this bread. I thought it had a nice subtle taste of both the pumlin and the gingerbread; neither was overwhelming. Very moist and tasted great with cream cheese frosting. I'll be making this agian for sure.

Brownie Mallow Bars

Oh my goodness - I've died and gone to dessert heaven!!! These bars are the best,so easy to make but makes it look like you're the best cook ever. I cut them into little squares - got about 60 out of a 13 x 9 pan. That way they don't get too sickly. However, since I keep wanting to go back and get more............ :) These will get me the best bosses wife award for sure when my husband takes them into work.

A quick easy recipe. I added a bit of oil to the chocolate to thin it out so I would't get as thick of a coating on the balls.

Rum or Bourbon Balls

So easy to make and very yummy. I used brandy and rolled in powdered sugar. Don't think they'll last a week before they are gone.I can't wait to try the recipe with different chocolate and liqour. Ok I tried white chocolate and creme de menthe - too sweet so I think I'll stick to the brandy. I've made 4 batches so far!

Eggnog Pound Cake

This pound cake tasted good but wasn't as dense as I like my pound cakes to be. It was moist but I may add more nutmeg next time to get a little more eggnog flavour. The custard was great!

Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

Absolutely awesome! A very nice change to regular banana bread. I omitted the cherries and came up a little short on the bananas so I didn't drain the pineapple. I didn't have nuts so obviously left those out too. It turned out great and even my picky husband ate some.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

I'm always looking for a good recipe for those ripe bananas and I found one here. Probably the best banana bread I've made to date. I put bourbon cream cheese icing on it and took it to a cook out. Needless to say it didn't last long.

Country Chicken Casserole

Quick and delicious. I don't like fried onions so I left these out and I used squash instead of corn. Loved the way the hash browns tasted with it and didn't think them mushy at all - or maybe I just like them that way :) Will make this easy recipe again.

Banana Peanut Butter Bread

Pretty good banana bread. I also ncreased the PB and banana and thought the subtle taste of both was great. Really good with a little butter on it the next day too.
