I have a busy career but I still love to cook! I love to make soups, but I will cook anything and everything. My mother was from Germany so I love to make dishes she used to such as Rouladen or her famous potato salad, etc. And my father was Irish and from New England, so I absolutely love Baked Stuffed Lobster with green pepper stuffing. Whenever we'd all get together in Massachusetts, we'd often go get a ton of lobsters from a shack on the side of the road, and pounds of clams, and have a pig party. Both of my parents were great cooks and I'm glad I seem to have taken after them. Cooking authentic Mexican rice. My best girlfriend showed me, but the first few times it did not come out right. But I kept at it, and now it usually comes out just right. Her secret it to add some fresh cilantro to the pot when it is cooking. I only wish I had more time to spend doing it! I feel that sharing good food brings families and friends together.
