My Best Clam Chowder
Absolutely fantastic! I used cream instead of the 1/2 and 1/2 cause that's what I had on hand. I also added a little bacon grease (what's not better with bacon in it?!) and added some thyme at the end. My 2 boys who hate seafood had seconds!! Absolutely add the red wine vinegar. I wasn't so sure about it, but after trying it, I now proclaim it to be the ultimately secret ingredient.
