I am single mom of three children, ages 13,13, and 10. I love to garden, spend time outdoors and I love to cook. It makes me happy to see my family really enjoying what I cook.

I somehow always tend to lean towards mexican and italian dishes. But I love to try anything new and different.

Every holiday my family makes a huge meal together. We prepare the meal together and we like to try out new recipes.

Excellent, went exactly by the recipe. Turned out great.

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair
my children and I loved this recipe, but did alter a little after reading reviews. used rigatoni,instead of angel hair pasta.added one can of diced tomatoes with garlic and the rest fresh tomatoes, which i blanched and peeled before adding. I added about a 1/4 cup of red wine and around a tsp of spicy pesto. also added oregano and doubled the garlic. added fresh basil the last five minutes to enhance flavor. will definately make again!

Four Cheese Macaroni
made this recipe just as written despite review suggestions. It was awful! Very dry, almost as if macaroni portion was 4 times too much. Will try again, altering recipe.
