You can never go wrong with this recipe. Everyone will love them and make sure to make plenty....they go fast!! Hotdogs cut in half can be used too.

My only changes are: I added sauteed onions to the beef, browned the beef and added chopped tom. I used 4oz of cream chez, a taco seasoning packet and I didn't have taco sauce so I just poured some green salsa. But some kind of red sauce should be used (my shells lacked that nice red color that is pictured). And the tortilla chips are neccesary because it gives it a much needed crunch. VERY TASTY DISH!!!!!

I gave it 3 stars because it was very bland and dry. I ended up adding 1/4 cup more mayo, 1/4-1/2 cup sour cream, salt, pepper, fresh lemon juice, 1/4 cup finely chopped celery and a pinch more onion powder. I only had 12oz of crab meat and didn't use as much peas as the recipe called for.......turned out pretty good. Crab, peas and bacon is such a good combo....ENJOY!!!!
