What a great recipe! I decorate cakes a lot & have always wanted to try out a whipped frosting but nothing held up. This held up GREAT!! I did however use a tub of Cool whip instead of the heavy whipping cream and I also used a mixture of almond extract and the vanilla because my family raves over my almond icing. The only thing I didn't use this icing on was the ship as I needed chocolate. I will definitely be using this recipe again! (again with my tub of cool whip because it made it super easy! Another plus was that it was SOOOOO much easier to clean up than regular frosting because the lack of all that lard and grease!
