I'm a 29 year old mom and wife to the most wonderful & hardworking man I've ever known.I'm originally from Mexico grew up in Las Vegas,Nevada and now live in Texas.I've learned some new dishes since moving to Texas like carne guisada-when I heard about this I thought it was carne asada but it's more like a stew,fideo con carne,barbacoa(TX style)because Mexican barbacoa that I grew up on is totally different,and BBQ.My goal is to learn to BBQ Texas style. Mexican food,baking,desserts,italian,anything with cheese,I really enjoy cooking that involves getting my hands messy like making tortillas,bread,or tamales. Making tamales with my daughter for Christmas and Thanksgiving at my house When I made my first Thanksgiving dinner and everyone loved it.I feel so good when my family sits down together to eat dinner and we all enjoy my cooking. When I forgot about some oil burning on the stove and almost burned the house down.
