Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
WOW, this was a FANTASTIC casserole! I sub'd mozerella for swiss since I don't like swiss, but followed the recipe other than that. It would be great to make the night before and then just throw in the oven in the morning!

This tasted great! Next time, I won't use bread crumbs, I will just sprinkle more cheese on the top.

Dump Cake V

I LOVE dump cakes. I haven't tried it with the coconut, but I will next time. You can use blueberry or apple pie filling instead of the cherries too. Make sure to serve this warm with vanilla ice cream!!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

WOW, WOW, WOW! One of the best meals I have made in a while, yet sooooo super easy!! I followed the recipe except I didn't use the entire bottle of BBQ sauce. I served over a baked potato with butter and sour cream! Delicious!!!

Great sauce for asparagus! I used frozen spears and cooked them in the microwave. Poured the sauce on top. Easy and tasty!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
This was fantastic. I pounded the chicken, rolled swiss and ham in them, floured them, egged them, and dipped them in breadcrumbs. I then pan fried them in veg. oil before baking them at 350 for 30 min. I made the sauce on the stove separately and drizzled it over the chicken before serving. I used half and half instead of whipping cream and it still turned out great!

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
I liked this! I made the honey mustard and reserved about 3/4 of it. With the remaining 1/4, I dipped the chicken in it and then in breadcrumbs and fried it in the skillet. I then poured the saved sauce on top of the chicken before serving. This was a nice change to the normal old chicken.

Steak Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
Great 10 min. meal!! I used pre-sliced stir fry meat and frozen stir fry veggies. I used some of the sauce to marinate the meat for about 30 min. I cooked the meat and then threw in the veggies and added the sauce. I also added some red pepper for our tastes! Easy and Yummy!

Italian Sausage and Zucchini

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2009
This was very good for something different. You do need to add a lot of Italian spices to give it some flavor. I also added red pepper and used hot italian sausage. I think it's best served over rice.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Easy to make and tastes good too. This is just like a pork schnitzle I make, but I prefer the schnitzle because of the thinner cut of meat.

Eric requested this ever since we moved overseas. He loved it, but I need to make sure that I add water to the skillet when mixing all ingredients in the last step. I don't want the sauce to be too thick.

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
Wow, this turned out FANTASTIC!!! I skipped browning the meat because I just didn't find it necessary. I just threw everything (except peppers) in the crockpot and sprinkled with garlic and onion powder, red pepper, pepper, and a few dashes of worsteshire. I did double the sauce which I thought was perfect to make sure there was enough gravy for the rice. I added a bag of frozen peppers in the last 20 min of cooking. Thanks for an amazing new recipe!!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

This was wonderful! I skipped flouring the chicken as other reviewers had mentioned and omitted the mushrooms because I don't like them. Other than that, I followed the recipe and it was very very yummy! I served with garlic sgetti which I think is a must to complete this dish!

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
Great recipe! I sprinkled cajun seasoning, onion powder, and garlic powder on the chicken. Cooked it and cut it into bit sized pieces. I then cooked the penne in one pot and then drained. In the penne pot, I poured a jar of classico alfredo, added 2Tbs pesto, added a package of frozen spinach, added the chicken, and red pepper. Once heated through, I added the penne. It turned out wonderful!
