When I was a kid we always did a chocolate fondue on New Years Eve and an oil fondue with meatballs and steak on New Years Day. I tried to do this with my children but they didn't want anything to do with it.
My cooking tragedies
I spent 30 minutes mixing up a meatloaf and 1 1/2 hrs waiting for it to cook. I took it out of the oven and dropped it! It was in a glass dish and the dish broke! I was so disappointed that I wasn't able to enjoy my meatloaf. :(
