Pumpkin Waffles with Apple Cider Syrup
I just made these for our New Years Day breakfast and they were great. The syrup is wonderful and would taste great on most waffles and pancakes! I did have to cook these a little longer than usual, but well worth the extra minute!

Alison's Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup
This was a really good recipe! I was craving soup for our first cool day of the fall season and this hit the spot. I did add some lima beans and cauliflower to the recipe and omitted the potatoes (didn't have any). The only other thing I changed was the bouillon. I ran out of beef bouillon while making the recipe, so I went out and bought the thick beef paste-style bouillon. I added about a tablespoon before serving and it made the broth very rich but not too salty. The whole family ate this up!

Chicken Marsala
I made this for BUNCO night and it was a big hit! I had a lot of requests for the recipe. I made too much, and my husband and children ate it up (even the mushrooms!) I did not make any changes to the original recipe and thought it was wonderful!
