About this Cook
I'm a busy mom of three girls and have a wonderful husband who has the diet of a four year old. I have a home business with Arbonne International so some days it's a relaxing meal, but many are a crock pot night or quick and easy! I enjoy entertaining for family and friends wether it's a backyard cook out or my elegant Christmas parties.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are Italian and Mediteranean dishes. I love all the fresh veggies, herbs and cheeses in these cuisines. My other favorite thing to make is soup. I make a large pot about once a week in the winter.
My favorite family cooking traditions
It's hard to choose my favorite cooking traditions because I have a few. One would be that I let my kids pick out whatever shaped, style cake that they want for thei birthdays and I figure out a way to make them. I've done evertything from a unicorn to a beach. They also get to pick out any dinner that they want for their special day too. That's been tradition for my family since I was a kid.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumphs are almost anything that all five of us like!!!
My cooking tragedies
My biggest cooking tragedy would have to be the fried catfish I made once. It tasted like the bottom of the lake! We had carry out fish that night!

Banana Muffins with a Crunch
These muffins disappeared! I had a play date for my 3 year old and they vanished! I used all whole wheat flour and topped with a little toasted coconut I had left over from another recipe. Will definetly be making these again!

Pasta with Tomatoes and White Beans
YUMMMY! I didn't have spinach or feta on hand. I added an Italian twist to the dish by adding zucchini for the last few minutes of the simmer and topped with fresh basil and parmesan. Great hot or cold!!!
