Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Okay, but not that great. I tried one reviewers suggestion to do it in the oven so that all the juice could be used, and put over rice. I did, but didn't find it anything exceptional. Might be better on the grill, but.............

Scrambled Eggs Done Right

I saw this recipe and went immediately to the kitchen to make it. I needed to add cheese to the top to get some flavor. Really couldn't tell much difference from regular scrambled eggs.

Eggplant Au Gratin

Scrumptious! Best way to cook eggplant. I did it in ramekins and also tried as a casserole. Both delightful! Add fresh mushrooms, too, for added delightfulness!

Good. Go easy on the noodles. Ricotta is hard to spread over the chicken. Don't skimp on the onion. It needs the seasoning.

Caramelized Bacon

There is no way this can cook in 8 minutes. Definitely need to line pan with foil because it makes a royal mess of the baking pan. It is quite tasty and is great with fried apples--but a lot of work and mess to get to the finished product

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Good flavor, but definitely need to be marinated during cooking to keep from drying out. I didn't marinate because I had had the raw chicken in the marinade. Next time, I would keep some out to use.

Cream Cheese Chicken

Very different, but good flavor. Used less cream cheese but all the mushrooms. The mustard/brown sugar mixture sounded different, but was quite a good flavor. I cut that mixture way down, and just put it on top of the chicken rollups in the pan and sprinkle with crushed pecans. I also sprinkled fresh grated parmesan on top. Rich, but good.

Brie Pecan Rollups with Raspberry Sauce

The raspberry sauce definitely makes the difference. I used cream cheese. Make sure the pecans are FINELY chopped bec/ they don't stick very well. I used frozen raspberries, and added less sugar and almost no water. Makes it thicker

Keep onion to a minimum. It gets overpowering. Brush crust, before baking, with beaten egg and sprinkle with cheese! Added bonus!

Taste is great. Needs to be scored before starting to cook. Follow some of the reviews, and use brown sugar, honey and butter. Thickens really fast. Best to brush on, frequently.

Easy Turkey Gravy

Kinda blah. With the soup, probably didn't need more salt. I also added a can of ready made turkey gravy, and that still didn't seem to do much. Seems a waste of the cream of chicken soup!

Easy Roasted Pork

Good flavor, but quite sweet. Try using less brown sugar. If applesauce is real watery, sieve out some of the liquid. Don't overcook. (An hour may be too long on a 2 lb roast).

Grilled Peppers and Zucchini

I used yellow squash bec/ I didn't have zucchini. Grill the pepper quarters directly on grill first to get marks, before adding to foil packet. Also sprinkled top of packet with feta cheese. Delish!

This is a lot of work, but worth it. Tastes delicious. I used cottage cheese. (Be careful about changing the serving sizes. It does NOT calculate correctly and the instructions don't match at all.)
