This is really a great recipe. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because my family thought it was missing a little something. I make the receipe twice in row using other people's suggestions... added an extra banana, zucchini and pumpkin pie spice. It was really good, I'd have it again but I would still find something else to add.

I'm sure the original recipe is delicious but I liked adding the suggestions of other reviewers. With the following suggestions, it made it from home made bread to something I would expect to get at a nice bakery: I added the 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg and an extra cup of zucchini and replaced half the apple sauce with oil. I also added the "crunchy crust" recipe. I also used King Aurther white whole wheat flour. IT WAS AMAZING! The men in my house had no idea that it wasn't as bad for them as they thought :o)

Excellent! Our non-fish loving family ate every last bite. I used italian tomatoes as well. I wasn't sure if you were supposed to drain them and you aren't. I am sure you will enjoy!!
