I am on active duty in the Navy, have been for the last 6 years. I was stationed in Italy for 3 years where I became incredibly proficient at cooking Italian cuisine. Currently I am stationed in Virginia and living with my husband and our 2 dogs in North Carolina. I cook as much as I can, but a lot of times my schedule isn't that great. I can't wait to get out and have more time for cooking since it's such a passion of mine! I love cooking Italian and desserts. My grandmother's cornbread!! I cooked my first Thanksgiving dinner a few years ago for my friends stationed in Italy with me. It was a complete success, I cooked one turkey and deep fried a second and I had absolutely no leftovers, darn it!!
