About this Cook
Hello! I'm 22 years old and I'm trying to learn how to be queen of my kitchen and run it right! At the moment...I cant cook much of anything, but through trial and error, I'm learning! I have a beautiful little boy who is my whole wide world. My goal is to have the best cookies for his elementary school functions and to cook him real dinners every night and breakfast on the weekends. We'll see what happens!
My favorite things to cook
Heavy foods that leave everyone at the table stuffed and sleepy. I also love baking up sweets.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up in a house full of men...so lemme tell ya, I can fry up a mean grilled cheese sandwich.
My cooking triumphs
Just made bombshell brownies, drizzled them in white chocolate...amazing! Never made homemade brownies before and they were delicious...I was quite proud. New triumph! Butter Chicken. Never really made any kind of chicken before (with the exception of shake n bake) and I nailed it! Yes! haha.
My cooking tragedies
Nothing horribly tragic yet...but I'm sure I'll have some more to add to this in the future.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies
Sooooo good, soooo rich, soooo easy. I followed the recipe with only a few little changes. I added about twice the called for chocolate chips and I coated them with a little flour before mixing in so they wouldnt fall to the bottom. I also put some white chocolate in a double boiler, threw it in a ziploc, cut the tip and drizzled it all over the brownies. Delicious! They look like something you would buy from a bakery!

Scrambled Potatoes
My favorite! I am a VERY picky eater. My boyfriends mother makes this and it's my FAVORITE! It's better with Sausage then with bacon, and agreed a little onion goes a long way with this dish. When in a rush, bagged irish potato's go great too! Just cut em in half! Great, Easy meal.
