About this Cook
I'm a wife, mom, and engineer. I love cooking for my family and dinner guests in small groups. I enjoy challenging meals to prepare. I love doing the whole 5 course meal.
My favorite things to cook
appetizers, dinners, sidedishes and desserts. The more challenging the better!
My favorite family cooking traditions
no traditions, I'm up for anything!
My cooking triumphs
To many to name.
My cooking tragedies
Making Chicken marsala for 30 person family gathering.. was totally unedible because I used extra dry marsala wine. We had to order pizza :).

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
Hands down the best chocolate chip recipe I've ever made. I do have to say though you have to make sure the butter is soft and not melted...it makes a HUGE difference. They get dry after 3 days though so try to eat them right away when they are just fantastic!

Absolutely Fabulous Portobello Mushroom Tortellini
Very easy recipe and tasty. I would definately not serve this for a dinner party as it wasn't impressive in my opinion. It was an easy recipe and very convenient though making it worth it.

Apple Crisp II
I followed this recipe EXACTLY. I think it would be absolutely excellent without the water. There is no need for water as the apple crisp was soupy even the next day. Leave the water out and it will be great!
